Job Description/Overview:
A Nanny provides attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. Responsibilities include preparing meals, organizing activities, assisting with educational tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Supervise and care for children
- Help children with homework
- Cook
Qualifications needed
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- Emergency child care first aid and CPR
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test
