Job Description/Overview:
ANZCO Foods Kokiri, based at Arnold Valley Road, Kokiri are looking for a Site Service Engineer to join our Engineering team on a full-time permanent basis. This position reports to our Site Services Manager. In this position you will provide engineering maintenance support to our Operations function, ensuring all services are operating within food safety standards. The hourly rate will range between $36 – $48 per hour. The role is full-time and is a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan yearly maintenance of plant and equipment
- Maintain and operate ammonia refrigeration compressors; high pressure steam boiler and hot water boiler and High temperature Heat Pump; air compressors; potable water treatment plant and associated equipment
- Maintain a written log of refrigeration set points for MPI
- Maintain the CATR for food safety accountability
- Update the written specifications
- Ensure the services department complies with all health and safety requirements and NZ laws
- Liase with other maintenance staff as required
Qualifications needed
- One year experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems. Have or working toward (Tech/Ops F2F. Refrigerant Anhydrous Ammonia)
- Working towards or have NZQA level 4 Drinking water standard
- Certificate of competency, have or working towards NZQA level energy Chemical Plant
- Mechanical Trade certification
- EST A/B or working towards it
- CMMS in depth working knowledge
- Understanding of water, compressed air, hydraulic and steam systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with people at all levels of the organisation
- The desire to work with modern technology and systems
- Ability to work in a team as an active participating member
