Job Description/Overview:
Were delighted to offer a rewarding role for a dynamic Project Coordinator to join our Transmission team in Auckland. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with a diverse team, then this is the role for you! As a vital member of our Operations team, you’ll provide crucial support to our Project Management team across the Auckland region. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll have ample opportunities to showcase your exceptional collaboration skills as you work closely with the team on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising purchase orders, accurate customer claims, invoicing and reconciling project work prior to close-out
- Effectively manage outstanding project work and prepare journals where applicable
- Undertake a range of general administrative tasks including but not limited to filing, photocopying, scanning, emailing and record-keeping
- Assist in monthly calculation of Work in Progress
- Provide support to the project managers and estimators where required
Qualifications needed
- Previous experience in a client or customer-facing role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate at all levels
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
- System-savvy with the ability to learn new software
- Strong organizational skills, detail-focused and able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Experience with systems like JDE, COUPA and Maximo (preferable)
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a multicultural environment
- Ability to motivate and influence others with integrity and trust
