Job Description/Overview:
Are you skilled in ITIL, ITSM, and CMDB? Do you have a knack for data management? We’re seeking a detail-oriented consultant to join our team in Luxembourg.
About the position:
You’ll be the guardian of our data quality and security, making sure it perfectly aligns with our business objectives. By harnessing the power of ServiceNow, you’ll revolutionize our data management processes. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the governance, quality, and security of our data assets, ensuring they are accurate, compliant with regulations, and seamlessly usable across all departments. Your mission will also include crafting and implementing robust data management policies, vigilantly monitoring data quality, swiftly resolving any data issues, maintaining impeccable data integrity, and safeguarding our sensitive information. In essence, you’ll be the architect of our data’s excellence and integrity.
Although we are a borderless company, you will report to our Luxembourg HQ as you are expected to work onsite. We hold team meet-ups at our Luxembourg & Amsterdam offices and have onsite client meetings for brainstorming and discussions, so occasional travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate regular reports and analytics to provide insights into data quality and usage, supporting informed decision-making.
- Implement and manage data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality data across the organization.
- Leverage ITIL and ITSM best practices to optimize and streamline data management within the IT environment.
- Maintain and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information about IT assets, configurations, and relationships.
- Utilize the ServiceNow platform for data management activities, including workflow automation, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and align with organizational goals.
- Create presentations, summarizing complex information for various audiences (CxO, VPs, technical teams, etc.).
- Guide junior team members through user stories and agile development.
- Prepare and host workshops.
Qualifications needed
- Over two years of experience working with IT infrastructure (networking, system administration, storage, databases, etc.).
- Technical experience with ServiceNow modules (e.g., Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Integrations/Service Graph, CMDB, CSDM).
- Expertise in data governance, data quality management, and data stewardship.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITSM frameworks and their application in data management.
