Job Description/Overview:
Steedbuilt is seeking a keen young carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be ready to take on more responsibility, with attention to detail and potential for managing jobs and apprentices in the future. While not all tasks will involve carpentry, you will be trained to produce high-quality work and maintain a great work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with residential renovations and various building tasks
– Learn to manage jobs and apprentices over time
– Maintain a high quality of work and efficient production
Qualifications needed:
– Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
– Qualification in carpentry preferred
– Valid Australian driver’s license
– Access to a ute, preferably with timber racks
Experience:
– Experience in residential renovations
– Willingness to learn new skills
Skills:
– Attention to detail
– Strong work ethic
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Flexibility for occasional Saturday work and overtime
