Job Description/Overview:
The successful applicant will work with a high degree of autonomy within a small team of Advisers under the supervision of the Head of Innovations, Payments and Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse sustainable finance regulatory and policy developments at EU and national levels
- Prepare position papers and coordinate advocacy initiatives with respect to this subject area
- Coordinate ABBL initiatives to support our members in implementing sustainable finance obligations, including SFDR and the EU Taxonomy
- Facilitate, coordinate and follow-up with relevant ABBL workstreams
- Participate in external working groups at national and European levels
- Handle contacts with national authorities to discuss relevant technical issues
- Collaborate with internal ABBL experts on key related regulatory and prudential topics
Qualifications needed
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
Experience:
- At least 5 years professional experience, preferably in the financial sector
- Strong knowledge of sustainable finance regulation (SFDR, EU Taxonomy), ESG financial products and services and ESG risks as part of the prudential framework
Skills:
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken), Luxembourgish is an advantage
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Proactive, curious, rigorous, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong sense of responsibility and professional awareness
