One World Global Services is a trusted provider of remote interpretation services, facilitating communication between diverse language groups. We are looking for a skilled Spanish Freelance Interpreter to help us bridge language gaps and provide high-quality interpretation services remotely.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Spanish Freelance Interpreter, you will be responsible for:
- Providing accurate interpretation between Spanish and English speakers in real-time.
- Ensuring clarity and accuracy in your interpretation, adhering to established protocol and avoiding omissions or additions.
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism during all interpretation sessions.
- Using available tools such as note pads, glossaries, and dictionaries to aid interpretation.
- Explaining cultural concepts when necessary to avoid miscommunication.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
- Ability to render accurate and meaningful interpretations according to professional standards.
- Strong cultural understanding to aid in communication across language barriers.
- A quiet and secure environment to work from.
Technical Requirements
- Computer or Laptop with Windows 10 or higher.
- USB wired headset for clear communication.
- A steady wired internet connection to ensure uninterrupted service.
