Key Responsibilities
- Answer all calls with professionalism and personality, within the set SLA timeframes
- Navigate callers effectively using on-screen prompts and our bespoke systems
- Handle inbound emails and respond according to client-specific requirements
- Take and deliver accurate messages promptly
- Perform administrative tasks, including directory updates and client data management
- Act as gatekeeper for client calls and requests, screening appropriately
- Adhere to confidentiality, GDPR, and cybersecurity protocols
- Support your team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Maintain records for accurate billing and reporting
- Complete team checklists and follow procedures, rules, and regulations
- Use active listening and communication skills to meet client needs and provide solutions
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in a telephone-based role, customer service, switchboard, hospitality, or legal sectors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent keyboard and IT skills
- Confident, clear, and professional telephone manner
- Strong multitasking abilities
Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent
- NVQ in Customer Service (desirable)
