About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Pricing Intern to support the development of pricing strategies and analytical frameworks to enhance our pricing metrics. Reporting to the Head of Pricing, you will work closely with our Strategic Pricing Analyst, gaining valuable experience in finance, pricing, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Deal Desk Management, responding to seller requests, conducting analyses, and escalating deals as needed.
- Participate in daily contract reviews, helping review agreements and advising sellers on pricing business terms.
- Enhance Pricing Analytics by improving deal desk metrics, strategic program analysis, and supporting finance leadership with various tasks.
- Prepare and present critical pricing analyses as part of regular reporting activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to drive strategic cross-functional analytic projects.
- Work with IT to improve the Axiom Pricing Tool through data-driven insights.
- Develop clear, compelling materials to simplify complex topics for strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical with a strong interest in finance, pricing, and business strategy. They thrive in spreadsheet analysis, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
Experience & Skills
- Strong academic background, particularly in finance, business, or analytics.
- Interest in pursuing a career in finance, pricing, or a related business field.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
Compensation
Axiom is committed to transparency and equity in compensation. The hourly wage for this internship in Chicago is $16.20 per hour.
