Join Our Team as a Remote Helpdesk Technician
ProtoCall Services Inc. is looking for a Helpdesk Technician (HT) to provide technical support to our users. As the first point of contact for IT-related issues, you will troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate service requests to ensure smooth operations. What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support via phone and remote access.
- Process and resolve service requests or escalate them within required timelines using ConnectWise Manage.
- Record and document IT issues and their resolutions.
- Assist with troubleshooting system errors, software, and networking issues.
- Support new software implementations and recommend process improvements.
- Set up and configure equipment for new users and employees.
- Administer IT-related systems and databases.
- Perform other IT-related duties as needed.
Who You Are
- Experienced in IT support with prior helpdesk or customer support roles.
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of office automation, databases, and remote access tools.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and general IT infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communicator with both written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred).
- Prior help desk or IT support experience required.
- Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage or similar ticketing systems is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
