Job Description:
As the Technical Writer, you will create technical content that positions Gelato as the leading Rollup Platform for developers, institutions, and creators. You’ll be responsible for strategizing, developing, and executing a comprehensive content-publishing plan to create a consistent and powerful brand voice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and execute Gelato’s narrative and content-publishing plan to establish a unique and powerful brand voice that positions Gelato as the No. 1 RaaS platform.
- Guide the creation of clear, consistent, and compelling content across all communication channels, including blogs, the website, social media, and metaverses.
- Create and own the editorial calendar.
- Generate long-form blog posts and articles, with potential for tweets and other content formats.
- Work closely with the team to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and customer base to create engaging and informative content that converts.
- Define and track content KPIs to refine content strategies and demonstrate data-driven results.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience writing content within Web3, with a focus on DeFi.
- Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to develop and adapt tone of voice for various target audiences.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts into simple, engaging, and relatable content.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-starter attitude, exceptional work ethic, and passion for Gelato’s mission.
- Active on crypto Twitter and always up-to-date with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Bonus Points:
- Deep understanding of social media platforms such as Twitter, Discord, and YouTube.
- Proven experience using social media to build communities at scale through high-quality blog posts, explainer threads, product marketing, and memes.
- Experience or curiosity about running Web3-native campaigns and using Web3-native marketing tools.
