About the Role
We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager – Blogs to create impactful, strategic blog content for our non-profit audience. This role is vital in shaping our brand voice, contributing to our content marketing strategy, and helping non-profits understand the value of online fundraising and our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write and edit high-quality, original blog posts tailored to the needs of non-profits.
- Research & Insights: Conduct in-depth research on non-profit fundraising, online donation platforms, and industry trends.
- Data-Driven Content: Use Fundraise Up’s internal data to craft meaningful research, benchmarks, and insights for non-profits.
- Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing team to align blog content with campaign goals, events, webinars, and product launches.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and blog visibility.
- Publishing & Planning: Maintain a consistent publishing schedule and manage deadlines.
- Content Ideation: Identify new content themes addressing non-profits’ challenges and opportunities.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed on industry news, best practices, and competitors to ensure content remains valuable and thought-leading.
- Performance Reporting: Analyze blog performance, reporting successes and opportunities to optimize content.
Skills & Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the non-profit sector, including trends, challenges, and opportunities in fundraising and online donations.
- Content Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a content writer, preferably for enterprise non-profits or B2B SaaS platforms.
- Writing Excellence: Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills to create clear, compelling, and actionable content.
- SEO Expertise: Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Research Ability: Skilled in conducting in-depth research and simplifying complex information for non-profit audiences.
- Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of marketing automation, email marketing, and social media strategies for non-profits.
- Content Strategy: Knowledge of content marketing strategies to engage and inspire target audiences.
