About the Role:
This is a freelance opportunity for experienced New Zealand English writers who want to contribute their expertise to train AI models. The work is remote and offers flexible hours, allowing you to work on your own schedule. You will be involved in various tasks related to reading, writing, and assessing New Zealand English text generated by AI models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read New Zealand English text and rank AI-generated responses based on quality and relevance.
- Write short stories or prompts in New Zealand English on assigned topics.
- Assess the factual accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated content.
- Provide feedback on strengths and weaknesses in AI-generated text.
Desirable Expertise:
- Professional experience in writing (copywriting, journalism, technical writing, editing, etc.).
- Experience as a professional translator.
- Enrollment or completion of an undergraduate or graduate program in a writing-related field (e.g., humanities, creative writing).
- Strong understanding of New Zealand English language conventions.
Payment:
- Pay rates for core project work average USD $25.00 per hour.
- Rates may vary based on expertise, project requirements, and other factors.
- Higher rates may apply for advanced qualifications (e.g., PhDs) and certain projects may offer incentive payments.
