The Opportunity
Fisher & Paykel Appliances, an iconic New Zealand brand with a strong global presence, is seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic Global Marketing team. This fixed-term role offers the opportunity to cover parental leave for 12 months, starting prior to Christmas 2024 and recommencing in early January 2025 after our company closedown.

About the Role
As the Social Media Specialist, you will manage end-to-end social media strategies, driving paid and organic activities across global platforms. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including the global marketing, brand, and digital teams, you will execute creative and data-driven social media campaigns that align with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute paid and organic social strategies across platforms, including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Manage content publishing and campaign execution using tools such as Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite.
- Optimize social media content, messaging, and audience targeting using performance data and insights.
- Lead budget tracking, reporting, and ongoing campaign optimizations to ensure performance success.
- Collaborate with designers and channel specialists to deliver timely and effective content aligned with marketing goals.
- Confidently present plans, reports, and performance insights to stakeholders across multiple markets and functions.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 3-5 years in social media management, preferably in an agency or media environment.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with social media platforms, publishing tools, and full-funnel paid activities, including reporting and optimization.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of content, channel fit, and audience targeting strategies.
- Communication: Confident presenter with the ability to articulate insights and strategies to diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
