Job Description/Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Women’s Clinical Business Unit at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Healthcare Assistant. We are looking for qualified and experienced healthcare assistants who possess excellent people skills and a woman-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical and emotional support to women.
Perform phlebotomy skills and assist nursing, midwifery, and medical teams.
Deliver basic care needs to facilitate prioritization of care by nursing and medical staff.
Adjust to the demands of a 24-hour service, including working a variety of 12-hour shifts.
Qualifications:
Minimum NVQ Level 2 in health/health and social care, QCF Diploma, GNVQ, BTEC in health, or equivalent. (Care Certificate required if not already achieved).
Basic IT skills.
Math & English A-C or equivalent.
Experience:
Essential: Experience in a healthcare setting.
Desirable: Previous experience in Women’s services or emergency care setting.
Skills:
Commitment to providing a high standard of care.
Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
Good communication/interpersonal skills with staff and patients.

Additional Information:
Salary: £23,615 per annum.
Contract: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
