Job Description/Overview:
As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) within the Human Resources organization at ING, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to shape and implement the people agenda. This role focuses on enhancing leadership capabilities and driving strategic people decisions, such as talent and succession planning, while ensuring smooth collaboration with HR Communities of Expertise (CoEs) and People Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape and implement the people agenda by partnering with business leaders.
Develop the capabilities of leaders within the business.
Support and coach leaders to enhance employee engagement.
Act as a change agent during business transformations and apply organization design expertise.
Collaborate with business leaders in building strategic workforce plans.
Lead and support annual people processes, including performance, compensation, and talent reviews.
Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
Provide feedback on business needs to HR CoEs for developing new or improved people solutions.
Key Competencies, Skills, and Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
5+ years of relevant HR experience or experience as a people manager in a business environment.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing), with knowledge of French and/or German/Luxembourgish as an asset.
Experience in an international and matrix organization is advantageous.
Proven track record in managing and implementing changes.
Strong communication, influencing, and advisory skills.
Business acumen with a quick adaptation to the financial industry.
Strategic focus with the ability to translate people vision into business performance.
Understanding of data analysis and reporting to support the people agenda.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in a human resources role or as a people manager.
Skills:
Excellent communication and advisory skills.
Strong strategic and business acumen.
