Job Description/Overview
LocalsCo is an independent hospitality group that specializes in restoring heritage pubs and creating vibrant community hubs. We are seeking multiple Assistant Managers for Subiaco Hotel and Bayswater Hotel to support leadership teams, ensuring high-quality hospitality and engagement with customers. The role involves managing the venue during peak hours, leading teams, and assisting the Venue Manager with daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead teams of 10-30 during lunch and dinner services.
Ensure high levels of customer service and venue presentation.
Open and close the venue, following standard operating procedures.
Assist in training staff, promoting customer engagement, and maintaining venue popularity.
Oversee functions and events, coordinate with head office, and drive the business forward.
Ensure compliance with labour targets, rostering, and security procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar managerial role.
Proven experience managing busy hospitality venues.
Experience
At least 3 years in hospitality management, including leading large teams and managing high-volume food and beverage outlets.
Skills
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Competent IT skills and the ability to manage operations efficiently.
Passion for staff training and upskilling.
