Job Description/Overview:
The Live-In Caregiver will provide personal and bedside care to clients in their home. This full-time, permanent position requires on-site work and involves evening, night, and early morning shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise (e.g., walking)
Change non-sterile dressings
Collect specimens
Launder clothing and household linens
Mend clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship
Shop for food and household supplies
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and a First Aid Certificate
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year
Skills:
Compassionate and patient care
Good communication skills
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
