Position Overview
As a Junior Software Engineer in our mobile team, you’ll tackle real and complex technical challenges, work with an attractive tech stack, and contribute to the ongoing development of our two native mobile applications. Join a dynamic R&D department with over 50 engineers and become part of our commitment to high-quality, modular, and clean code architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Within 1 Month:
- Familiarize yourself with the 360Learning platform and gain a global view of our codebase.
- Integrate into the team’s processes and implement your first tickets.
- Engage in our decentralized peer review process to adopt best practices.
Within 3 Months:
- Work on developing broader functionalities within our mobile applications.
- Gain proficiency in our technical stack.
Within 6 Months:
- Share best practices with the team and create your own courses on the 360Learning platform.
- Implement cross-functional tools to maintain quality standards and enhance speed.
- Document, refactor, and analyze features to uphold high quality and transparency.
Within 9-12 Months:
- Onboard new engineers into the team.
- Work on complex functionalities impacting multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Engage in architectural changes that affect our entire codebase.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in native mobile development (iOS and/or Android).
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and apply them practically.
- Interest in working in a scale-up environment with a focus on performance and quality challenges.
- Comfortable with algorithms and problem-solving.
- Fluent in English (US/UK); proficiency in French (level B2 or equivalent) is a plus.
