Job Description/Overview:

Arian Janitorial Services Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented Office Administration Clerk to join their team in Whitehorse, YT. This role involves a variety of clerical duties, including managing correspondence, processing documents, and providing general information to clients.

 

Salary:

$28.21 per hour

40 hours per week

Terms of Employment:

Permanent employment

Day, Flexible Hours

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Responsibilities:

 

Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.

 

Receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries.

 

Work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, and databases.

 

Sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and other documents.

 

Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically.

 

Send and receive messages.

 

Prepare and format page presentations.

 

Prepare invoices and bank deposits.

 

Provide general information to clients and the public.

 

Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing.

 

Order office supplies and maintain inventory.

 

Perform data entry.

 

Provide customer service.

 

Organize and schedule office work.

 

Prepare and monitor contracts and budgets.

 

Experience and Specialization:

 

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

 

Computer knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Reader
