Job Description/Overview:
Provide child caregiving services in a private home setting, responsible for the overall care and supervision of children, including their emotional well-being and daily activities. The job requires working on-site with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Change diapers
Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organise activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Supervise and care for children
Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Qualifications:
Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year
