Job Description/Overview
As a Site Quality Officer, you will support the Chemistry Quality Manager by maintaining and improving the ALS Quality Management System. This role includes conducting reviews and audits of validation protocols, assisting with method transfers, ensuring SOPs are up to date, and managing non-compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities
– Review and amend SOPs and ensure relevant staff training
– Coordinate investigations and document findings
– Perform corrective and preventive actions for non-conforming work
– Conduct internal audits, spot checks, and resolve identified issues
– Manage equipment calibration and oversee proficiency testing
Qualifications
– Degree in a science-related field
– Strong understanding of validation protocols and procedures
– High computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience
– Solid analytical and technical skills
– Experience in quality management or similar roles
Skills
– Keen eye for detail and methodical problem-solving
– Excellent communication and organisational abilities
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
