Job Description/Overview:
This position involves general housekeeping duties in a private household, including cleaning, dusting, and laundry. All work must be completed on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
– Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
– Dust furniture.
– Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and furniture.
– Make beds and change sheets.
– Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
– Stock linen closet.
– Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
– Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
– Launder and mend clothing and linens.
– Perform light housekeeping duties.
Qualifications:
– No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Experience:
– Experience an asset.
Skills:
– Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
