Job Description/Overview:
Optimus Biz Solutions is a fast-growing firm that specialises in delivering data-driven solutions to empower businesses. As a Data Analyst, you will design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide critical insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
Create data models and optimise data flows for reporting.
Translate complex data sets into easy-to-understand visual presentations.
Perform data analysis to identify trends and actionable recommendations.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency through regular validation checks.
Work with large datasets from multiple sources (SQL and Excel) and integrate them into Power BI.
Optimise reports for performance and usability.
Assist in training business users in Power BI functionality and self-service reporting.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and data analytics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Proven experience of 2-3 years in data analysis and Power BI.
Strong understanding of DAX and data modelling.
Experience in SQL queries.
Knowledge of ETL processes.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience with Power BI, SQL, analysis skills, and Microsoft Excel.
Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions with visual presentations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Salary:
£38,000 to £40,000 per year
