Job Description/Overview
The Sales Supervisor – Retail at City Centre Auto Sales Ltd. is responsible for managing the retail team, overseeing sales activities, and ensuring smooth operations. The position involves hiring and training staff, preparing sales reports, and resolving customer issues. It requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage inventory and staff schedules.
Key Responsibilities
– Assign sales workers to duties
– Hire and train staff or arrange for staff training
– Authorize payments by cheque
– Establish work schedules
– Sell merchandise
– Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
– Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
– Organize and maintain inventory
– Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
Supervision
– Supervision of 3-4 people
Qualifications
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience
2 to 3 years of relevant retail experience
Skills
– Strong supervisory and customer service skills
– Ability to handle inventory management and personnel tasks
– Experience in sales and staff coordination
