Job Description/Overview:
AGTA Home Health Care and Nursing Inc is looking for dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide essential home support to clients. The role involves assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and ensuring the comfort of clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Administer bedside and personal care
– Administer medications as needed
– Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
– Change non-sterile dressings and collect specimens
– Launder clothing and household linens
– Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and nutritious meals
– Provide companionship and emotional support
Qualifications:
– Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– Experience: Experience is an asset
Skills:
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Organised with attention to detail
– Patience and compassion for clients with varying needs
Salary:
– $19.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment:
– Permanent employment
– Starts as soon as possible
