Job Description/Overview
N S Kular Transport Ltd is seeking delivery truck drivers to join their team in Surrey, BC. This role requires professionalism in customer service, the ability to handle and transport goods, and attention to detail. The driver will be responsible for local, regional, provincial, and national deliveries, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently. This position offers flexible shifts, including day, evening, night, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide excellent customer service
– Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products
– Prepare, package, and restock goods
– Transport and handle dangerous goods
– Load and unload goods
– Follow directions and read maps
– Record trip information, including mileage, fuel costs, and any vehicle issues
Qualifications
– Secondary (high school) graduation certificate
Experience
– 1 to less than 7 months of experience
Skills
– Class 5/5F/G Licence (for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
– Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
– Physically demanding tasks, overtime may be required
– Attention to detail and reliability
