Job Description/Overview:
MSC Framing Inc. is looking for skilled carpenters to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling various materials, primarily wood and wood substitutes, in a construction setting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
– Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
– Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
– Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants
Qualifications:
– No degree, certificate, or diploma required
– Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Skills:
– Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
– Ability to handle heavy loads and work under physically demanding conditions
– Excellent judgement and reliability
– Strong client focus and interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
– Salary: $33.00 hourly / 40 hours per week
– Permanent employment
– Starts as soon as possible

Work Environment:
– Construction site
– Noisy, dusty, and outdoors
