Job Description/Overview  

Harlow Timber Group is a leading provider of quality timber products and building materials. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Factory Operative to join our team, responsible for producing high-quality trusses for various construction projects.

 

Key Responsibilities  

– Operate presses and other equipment used in truss manufacturing.  

– Assemble trusses according to engineering specifications and blueprints.  

– Ensure accurate cutting, joining, and fastening of truss components.  

– Inspect finished trusses for conformance to quality standards.  

– Identify and rectify defects in the manufacturing process.  

– Adhere to safety guidelines and report any equipment malfunctions.  

– Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

 

Qualifications  

– Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.  

– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

 

Experience  

Manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential.

 

Skills  

– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.  

– Excellent teamwork and communication skills.  

– Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.  

– Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
