Print Production Manager

 Job Description/Overview:

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is looking for a Print Production Manager to lead a team of production staff and manage VEC’s print workshop facility. The role includes overseeing the production of printed election materials, enhancing VEC’s internal print capabilities, and managing supplier relationships. 

 

This position offers sponsorship for qualified and passionate international candidates and is located in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

– Lead a team in producing printed election materials.

– Support the development of VEC’s internal print production capabilities.

– Assist in the procurement process and manage supplier relationships to meet service level agreements.

– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet changing print requirements.

– Develop and communicate production schedules to align with business needs and supplier capabilities.

 

 Qualifications:

– Advanced computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and pre-press/production software.

– Proven experience in leading a team and managing production environments.

– Demonstrated experience operating print, finishing, and bindery equipment.

– Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

– Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Salary: $121,250 – $132,764 AUD per year + Superannuation
