Job Description/Overview:
The employer is looking for a mechanical engineering technician to assist with tasks contributing to positive environmental outcomes, supporting Canada’s net-zero target. The role includes tasks such as creating manufacturing instructions and user manuals, assisting in mechanical inspections, and working on CAD-based designs.
Key Responsibilities:
– Create manufacturing instructions and user manuals
– Assist in mechanical inspections for installations and construction projects
– Prepare designs, drawings, specifications, contracts, and tenders
– Carry out mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
– Supervise maintenance programs and mechanical plant operations
– Estimate costs and materials
– Use software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, SolidWorks, and XML for various tasks
Qualifications:
– College/CEGEP diploma
– 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Work Environment:
