Job Description/Overview:
Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking a Machine Operative to join their production team. This is an ongoing position with the potential to become permanent. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machines and working in a production or warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operating machine lines in a production environment
– Performing general production and warehouse tasks
– Ensuring that machines operate efficiently and safely
Qualifications:
– At least 6 weeks of relevant experience working with machines
– Basic fitness level for lifting and moving items
– Strong attention to detail and focus for long periods
– Reliable and punctual with good organisational skills
Experience:
– Previous experience in a production or machine-operating role is required.
Skills:
– Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
– Flexibility to work on rotating shifts
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday with rotating shifts:
– 07:00 to 15:25 (Day Shift)
– 14:00 to 22:00 (Afternoon Shift)
Candidates must be flexible to work both shifts.
Salary and Benefits:
– Day shift: £11.44 per hour
– Afternoon shift: £15.25 per hour
– 28 days of holiday per year (pro rata)
