Job Description/Overview:
The Community Rehabilitation Worker will assist clients with special needs in a group home setting, implementing life skills workshops and behaviour management programs.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare reports or case histories
– Conduct social research and assess client needs
– Implement life skills workshops and behaviour management programs
– Supervise activities of clients in group homes
– Liaise with social services agencies and healthcare providers
– Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
– Resolve conflict situations
Qualifications:
– Education: College/CEGEP
– Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Pay: $24.88 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per week
