Job Description/Overview:
Queen Margaret University is seeking a Research Assistant for 12 months within the Centre for Person-centred Practice Research in the School of Health Sciences. The successful candidate will support a study funded by NHS Lothian focused on person-centred nursing intervention for older individuals with cognitive impairment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Recruit participants (people with dementia or their family members) at St John’s Hospital in West Lothian
– Conduct data collection, including observations and interviews
– Support data analysis and assist with project documentation
– Contribute to the writing of research reports and publications under the supervision of the principal investigator
Pay: £33,232 – £36,924 per year (pro-rata)
Job Type: Part-time (17.5 hours per week, 0.5 )
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months
