Job Description/Overview:
The Family Caregiver will work on-site at the employer’s home, providing personal and household care to the client. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, light housekeeping, companionship, and more. The work environment is non-smoking, and the role is physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Key Responsibilities:
– Administer bedside and personal care
– Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
– Help with regular exercise, such as walking
– Feed or assist in feeding
– Launder clothing and household linens
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
– Provide companionship and personal care
– Shop for food and household supplies
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
– 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
Salary: $21.00 per hour / 30 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent employment, Full time (Day, Weekend, Shift)
