Job Description/Overview
Cocktail Emporium is seeking a Sales Supervisor to manage staff, oversee daily retail operations, and ensure excellent customer service. The supervisor will coordinate with the team to achieve sales targets and maintain inventory.
Key Responsibilities
– Supervise staff, including apprentices and design team
– Assign sales workers to duties
– Hire and train staff or arrange for training
– Order and authorise the return of merchandise
– Establish work schedules
– Sell merchandise and prepare sales reports
– Resolve customer complaints and handle supply shortages
– Organise and maintain inventory
– Conduct performance reviews of staff
– Supervise and coordinate activities of 5-10 workers
Qualifications
– Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail setting
– Specialisation: Retail store and visual display design experience preferred
Experience
– 1-2 years of retail supervision experience
Skills
– Strong client focus and interpersonal skills
– Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure
– Excellent organisational skills
– Judgement and decision-making abilities
Work Conditions
– Work Setting: Urban area, Retail business
– Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
– Standing for extended periods
– Must have access to a cellular phone
Salary and Benefits
– Salary: $26.00 hourly, 40 hours per week
– Start Date: As soon as possible
