Job Description
Seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor in Statistics. The role focuses on high-level international research and teaching responsibilities in computational statistics and data science.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research, secure research funding, teach Bachelor and Master-level courses (10–20 ECTS credits annually depending on the rank), and supervise theses.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field, a strong research background, and proficiency in English. Knowledge of Finnish is a strong advantage.
Experience
Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required. International collaboration and success in obtaining funding are highly valued.
