Job Description/Overview:
24/7 Quality Home & Health Care Services Ltd. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) to provide comprehensive nursing care on-site. This position involves administering medications, assisting with surgeries, and monitoring patient progress.
Key Responsibilities:
– Administer medications and apply aseptic techniques
– Conduct specimen collection and ensure infection control
– Prepare patients for surgery and provide post-operative care
– Monitor nutritional intake and observe medication effects
– Provide technical assistance during surgeries and sterilise instruments
– Monitor respiratory and intravenous therapy
– Record patient observations and provide nursing services based on assessment
Qualifications:
– College/CEGEP diploma
– CPR Certificate
Experience:
– 1 year to less than 2 years
Skills:
– Manual dexterity
– Attention to detail
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
