Responsibilities:
– Grant access to computer networks.
– Report on computer systems and network performance.
– Respond to users experiencing computer difficulties.
– Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
– Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or software.
– Provide customer service and manage incidents.
– Perform backup procedures to ensure data preservation.
Experience and Specialization:
– Knowledge of shell script, networking software and hardware, network security, extranet, intranet, internet, servers, desktop applications, spreadsheets, TCP/IP, and wireless networks.
Additional Information:
– Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
– Transportation/Travel Information: Must have own transportation, vehicle, and a valid driver’s licence.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
– Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads.
– Requires attention to detail, sitting, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
