Job Description/Overview:
Hafsah Samad is looking for a responsible Babysitting Caregiver to provide full-time care for children in Kitchener, ON. This is a permanent, on-site role where the caregiver will assist with household duties and child supervision, including travelling with the family on trips. The position requires flexible responsibilities and focuses on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
– Shop for food and household supplies
– Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision
– Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
– Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
– Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
– Organise activities such as games and outings for children
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals
– Prepare infants and children for rest periods
– Supervise and care for children
– Take children to and from school and appointments
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
– 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
Skills:
– Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
– Excellent communication skills in English
– Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
