Job Description/Overview:
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting sales to both existing and potential clients, delivering sales presentations, preparing sales contracts, and providing ongoing client support. This role also involves technical support, troubleshooting, and supervising other technical sales specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
– Promote sales to existing clients and identify potential new clients.
– The client needs to recommend the right products or services.
– Deliver sales presentations and administer contracts.
– Provide input into product design when customization is needed.
– Consult with clients post-sale for ongoing support and troubleshooting.
– Train customers’ staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
– Resolve issues related to products or services.
– Supervise 5-10 technical sales specialists.
– Estimate installation and maintenance costs for equipment or services.
Supervision:
– Supervise 5-10 people.
Qualifications:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree.
– Experience: 2 to 3 years in sales, particularly with manufacturing and industrial products.
Experience and Specialization:
– Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Word.
– Specialized in manufacturing and industrial products sales.
Skills:
– Client focus, strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication.
– Organized, reliable, and a team player.
Salary:
– $26.00 hourly, 40 hours per week.
