Key Responsibilities
- Continuous observation and monitoring of vehicle systems and the environment
- Active control of the vehicle from a remote control station
- Maintaining communication with the control center, safety driver or other road users
- Collecting data on vehicle performance and behavior and reporting irregularities or incidents
- Taking manual control of the vehicle if this becomes necessary due to technical problems or in dangerous traffic situations
- Before starting the journey and during operation, check the vehicle’s safety systems and equipment
- Providing feedback on vehicle performance or issues to help improve vehicle technology
Qualifications
- Valid driving license (class B and C1) and in addition a passenger transport license is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German, both written and spoken
- Ability to make decisions under uncertainty and act responsibly
- Successfully completed training with a technical background
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the fields of automotive engineering or electronics
