Job Description/Overview:
The Construction Project Manager will oversee various construction projects, coordinate subcontractor activities, manage budgets, and ensure quality control. This role involves working at different construction sites and requires a strong background in project management.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate subcontractor activities
– Evaluate and plan daily operations
– Prepare and submit budget estimates
– Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or subcontractors
– Implement policies and procedures for quality control
– Develop risk management and quality control programs
– Prepare reports and analyse data
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management
Experience:
– 1 to less than 2 years in a related field
Skills:
– Proficient with tablet computers and SketchUp
– Experience with hand tools and industrial/commercial construction
– Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
