Job Description/Overview:
The Care Worker will provide care and support to clients in their own homes, supported living homes, residential homes, care homes, and within the community. Responsibilities include personal care, medication management, meal preparation and feeding, laundry, cleaning, shopping, managing appointments, and offering companionship. Maintaining respect and dignity while delivering care is essential. Candidates must undergo necessary training to meet client needs and maintain a clean DBS throughout their employment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver personal care and support
– Administer medication
– Prepare meals and assist with feeding
– Handle laundry and housekeeping tasks
– Assist with shopping and managing appointments
– Provide companionship
– Maintain a high standard of respect and dignity
– Undergo and complete required training
Qualifications:
– Essential: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
– Required: Clean DBS and valid Driving Licence
Experience:
– Experience in healthcare (preferred)
Skills:
– Ability to deliver compassionate care
– Strong communication and organisational skills
– Ability to work in various settings such as care homes, hospitals, and community settings
