Job Description/Overview
Ingram Content Group is hiring an Operations Team Lead for their manufacturing team. This role involves overseeing department workflow, leading hourly associates, and ensuring that quality and productivity standards are met. The Operations Team Lead will act in a leadership capacity in the absence of the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, solving warehouse system issues, and coordinating with other departments.
Key Responsibilities
– Train and develop hourly associates.
– Serve as the department contact for warehouse systems issues.
– Provide leadership and direction to associates.
– Ensure all quality and productivity standards are met.
– Research issues and recommend solutions.
– Use problem-solving skills and computers to track cartons.
– Plan and coordinate work activities, overseeing associates.
– Assist in administering policy and payroll activities.
Qualifications
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– At least 1 year of experience with PC-based applications.
– At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse operation environment.
Experience
– Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment is required.
Skills
– Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to manage workflow and coordinate activities efficiently.
– Proficiency with warehouse systems and technology.
