Job Description/Overview
Frito-Lay is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for full-time positions. This role involves various warehouse and production duties. As a full-time team member, you will have the opportunity for career advancement with our parent company, PepsiCo. The job requires working between 40 and 50 hours per week, with full company benefits including health insurance, dental and vision, and retirement savings benefits.
Key Responsibilities
– Safely operate a forklift to load and unload pallets and individual cases from trailers.
– Pick appropriate cases according to orders using required technology.
– Load trailers using carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
– Perform general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required.
Qualifications
– Minimum of one year of experience operating a forklift or using equipment in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
Experience
– 18 years of age or older.
– Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
– Capable of standing and walking for extended periods with or without accommodation.
– Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without accommodation.
– Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
– Comfortable working in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
Skills
– Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products.
– Strong physical stamina and flexibility.
