Job Description/Overview:
The Project Coordinator will oversee construction projects, manage subcontractor activities, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate subcontractor activities
– Evaluate and plan daily operations
– Prepare and submit project budget estimates
– Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and subcontractors
– Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones
– Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions
– Implement quality control policies and procedures
– Read blueprints, schemas, and drawings
– Direct the purchase of materials and land acquisitions
– Develop and implement quality control programs
– Analyse data and prepare reports
Qualifications:
– College, CEGEP, or non-university diploma (1 to 2 years)
Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years
Skills:
– Excellent written communication
– Strong organisational skills
– Ability to work as part of a team
– Good judgement and flexibility
