Job Description/Overview:
The role involves performing various housekeeping tasks at the employer’s or client’s home, including cleaning, laundry, and cooking. Optional accommodation is available on a live-in basis, though it is not a condition of employment. Work must be completed on-site, with no option for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
– Dust furniture
– Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
– Make beds and change sheets
– Stock linen closet
– Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures
– Launder clothing and household linens
– Mend clothing and linens
– Perform light housekeeping duties
– Shop for food and household supplies
– Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
– Cook
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– Non-smoking environment
