Job Description/Overview
Icon Projects Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumber to join their team in Abbotsford, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires a high level of precision and the ability to supervise other workers.
Key Responsibilities
– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
– Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
– Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
– Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
– Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
– Supervise other workers.
– Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes.
Qualifications
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
– 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience
3 years to less than 5 years in plumbing.
Skills
– Ability to work on-site with no remote options available.
– Proficient in reading blueprints and plumbing system layouts.
– Strong problem-solving and supervisory skills.
– Physically fit to handle the demands of the job.

Salary: $31.30 hourly / 40 hours per week.
