Job Description/Overview:
Taaleem is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate Homeroom Teacher to join our Dubai Schools campus for a November 2024 start. The teacher will embody Taaleem’s ethos of excellence, innovation, creativity, and compassion, working to ensure that our curriculum programs foster academic and professional success, personal fulfilment, and a love of lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities:
– Teach and represent areas of knowledge, understanding, and skills to students.
– Engage and motivate students to exceed expectations.
– Utilise educational technology and blended learning practices.
– Plan and deliver lessons tailored to students’ individual needs.
– Maintain professional relationships and contribute to the school’s improvement.
– Communicate with parents about their child’s progress.
– Participate in after-school activities and community events.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
– Valid teaching credential/licence.
Experience:
– Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
– Experience with US Curriculum (desirable).
– Experience working with English Language Learners (advantageous).
Skills:
– Strong subject knowledge.
– Excellent interpersonal and pedagogic skills.
